Francçois-Joseph Navez - Le Sommeil de Jésus 2005 - 2006 Navez picked up, in a more complex fashion, from the composition of the scene representing the Mariage mystique de sainte Catherine (1822) when he created his famous Sommeil de Jésus painted in 1834 for the Belgian queen read more Restoration of the Christ de Duckers of the old monks refectory at Stavelot Abbey 2005 - 2006 The Christ de Duckers in painted stucco, dated 1778-1779 and conserved in the old Abbey at Stavelot. The restoration study and the restoration itself were carried out in 2006 by the IRPA, with the support of the InBev-Baillet Latour Fund. read more Tournais Tapestry 'The Resurrection' 2006 - 2007 One of the major pieces belonging to Brussels'Royal Art and History Museums was recently restored thanks to funding from the InBev-Baillet Latour Fund, obtained through the Roi Baudouin Foundation. read more The Cabinet attributed to Pierre Gole or the art of floral marquetry 2006 - 2007 The second piece to benefit from restoration is a cabinet probably made around 1665 in the Paris workshops of the cabinet maker Pierre Gole, who was the official supplier of King Louis XIV. read more Atlas manuscript, Chrétien Sgrooten 2006 - 2008 Atlas manuscript of 1573 by Chrétien SGROOTEN. Document acquired in 1859 by the Royal Library, very interesting for the history of the mapping of our provinces. read more Restoration of documentary film ZOOM 58 (as part of the 50-year anniversary of the 1958 universal exhibition) 2008 - 2008 The InBev-Baillet Latour Fund has contributed to the restoration of this 52-minute film/documentary by David Martinez on the 1958 universal exhibition.
