Restoration in progress

Introduction Since 2003, the Fund finances a cultural project for the preservation or restoration of an important item of Belgium's artistic heritage each year. An amount is determined on a case-by-case basis according to the scope and interest of the project. The selection of projects is done in collaboration with the King Baudouin Foundation. The preservation of Belgium's rich cultural heritage In 2002, the Fund launched the InBev-Baillet Latour Programme for the Restoration of Belgium's Cultural Heritage. The Fund is also responding to the observation that most cultural projects in Belgium are devoted to real estate heritage, while it is also essential to develop initiatives supporting the restoration of movable objects.
